Our Company

The Luciani company is extended over 50 hectares, mainly on the eastern side of Montalcino hill, a zone known for producing Brunello.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 MASL On skeleton-rich limestone soils and east, south-east exposure, the breeding is unilateral spurred cordon with a limited load of plant buds and a density ranging from 3000 to 4200 strains per hectare, with green pruning and various thinning. The production is contained in about 50 quintalsof grapes per hectare and further selected at harvest time, strictly manual.

The vinification is natural, takes place in steel tanks and lasts for about 15/20 days, it is characterized by frequent replacements and ends with soft pressing of the marc.
